Within the village there is a general store, popular inn and a junior school. The village is served by the neighbouring towns of Shipston-on-Stour (4 miles) and Stratford upon Avon (6.5 miles). There is a mainline rail service to London from the Cotswold town of Moreton in Marsh (10 miles) whilst Warwick is 15 miles and Birmingham 28 miles.
