Claverdon is an attractive south Warwickshire village lying three and a half miles south east of Henley in Arden and approximately seven miles north of Stratford upon Avon. Claverdon is home to an original 15th Century church and has a thriving community with a church hall, doctors surgery, two public houses a village hall where many activities take place and also a railway station. Claverdon Cottage comprises a charming Grade II Listed thatched cottage with many exposed timbers, dating back to the 16th Century. The front door opens into the spacious Dining Hall having original flagstone flooring and exposed timbers, a useful under
stairs storage cupboard, door to the rear and steps lead down to the attractive fitted kitchen with a range of oak floor standing cupboards and matching wall cupboards incorporating a prestige four plate electric hob and separate double oven, original flagstone flooring and windows overlooking the rear garden. The adjoining utility area has space and plumbing for a washing machine and dishwasher. Steps lead to an inner lobby with a fitted cupboard. There is a Wet Room off having a low level WC and fixed shower attachment. The Sitting Room has a magnificent brick inglenook fireplace with heavy beam over and concealed lighting with a fitted oil burning stove. This room has dual aspect windows and a door to the garden.
