" Nestled in the picturesque Warwickshire village of Rowington, sits Clematis Cottage. A large four bedroom residence on a generous plot with stables, paddock, garaging, orchard and formal gardens.

We first noticed Clematis Cottage whilst walking through the countryside from Lapworth to Shrewley. From the top of a hill we saw the pretty house and the surrounding gardens and thought what a beautiful place it would be to live. Having now spent time inside the home our expectations have been exceeded. Clematis Cottage is a warm and welcoming home, full of interest and character. 

When you park up on the gravel driveway the beauty of the garden reveals itself. The current owners have created an idyllic cottage garden that has private places to relax, large areas to play and a paddock and stabling for horses. The garaging is great storage or could, with relevant planning, be converted into something more substantial. Walk along the winding path and the size of Clematis Cottage comes into view. It is a large home, perfect as it is, or could be developed into something bigger. 

Head inside the cottage through the back door (nobody uses the front door in the country), take your shoes and coat off and leave in the big utility room, step over the dog and take in the country chic feel of the bespoke cabinetry and the light filled room.
