" This attractive and well maintained Victorian home is located in the heart of Whitstable's sought after town centre conservation area, and is practically a 'hop, skip and a jump' from the thriving Harbour, where you can sit on the quayside and enjoy either a plate of Whitstable oysters or a bowl of Whitstable whelks.
From the Harbour, you will be able to stroll along Whitstable's famous beaches, and indulge yourselves in a bit of retail therapy in 'trendy' Harbour Street with its varied and cosmopolitan shops. This property has a traditional layout on the ground floor, with a comfortable lounge situated at the front of the property with double glass doors leading to a good size dining room in which the current owners have enjoyed many dinner parties. Leading from the dining room is the shelved kitchen from which the ground floor bathroom is accessed via a small lobby. First floor accommodation is accessed via an attractive open plan staircase from the dining room, which leads to what was formerly a bedroom but is now an open plan galleried landing. Measuring 13ft x 11ft, it makes an ideal home office. This could, with some imagination, be converted back to an additional bedroom that would then complement the two further bedrooms found on this floor. There is a sunny courtyard garden to the rear of the house, ideal for entertaining and constructed in such a way that maintenance and gardening is kept to a minimum.

What the Owner says:

The location of this house was just ideal, as we wanted to live in the centre of Whitstable and be able to walk to all of the main attractions including the beach, Harbour, shops, restaurants, railway station and health centre. We love entertaining and feeding people, and the dining room has proved ideal as we can sit 10 people round our dining room table.
