" This impressive detached property is located on the popular St Augustines development in Chartham. There is a spacious living room with a bay window; double doors open onto the dining room which has patio doors into the garden. The kitchen/breakfast room has a double oven, a gas hob, a dishwasher and a fridge freezer. The breakfast area has double doors onto the garden and the garage can be accessed via the utility room. There is a downstairs WC, two double bedrooms both with built in double wardrobes (the master bedroom with en-suite shower room), two single bedrooms and bathroom with shower over bath. The back garden is easy to maintain with a patio area and steps up to the lawn. There is off street parking for two cars. Unfortunately the landlord of this property will not accept pets, students or anyone in receipt of housing benefit. Location Chartham stands on the River Stour, 3.5 miles South West of Canterbury. The village offers a local shop, post office, sports fields, friendly pubs and a primary school which always achieves good Ofsted reports. There is a main line railway station from Chartham as well as two from Canterbury, one offering the high speed link service to St. Pancras International. There are an array of country walks to be enjoyed and a new cycle path along the River Stour into Canterbury. With a regular bus service in and out of the city you can enjoy the tranquillity of the village with easy access to Canterbury's cultural city centre.
