" This house is all about location. Twiss Avenue is a no through road and this house is tucked away towards the end. So if peace and tranquillity is one of the things you are looking for, you will not be disappointed. This house is in need of some updating, but it does have the foundations of what could be a superb home. The sitting room still has its fireplace, so with the aid of a little care and attention this could be a beautiful focal point. There is a good sized dining room and kitchen / breakfast room, plus the added benefit of a lean-to utility area.Upstairs there are two double bedrooms and a good sized single and subject to planning you could convert the loft into a forth bedroom. Outside there is currently off road parking for four cars, plus a single garage and a secluded garden to the rear. So if you have watched Grand Designs or DIY SOS and have a vision for what a home could be, then you need to look at this house.

We bought this property as an investment and it has been one of our best rental properties. What made us pick this house in particular was the location, as it looks out over the canal and is only a two minute walk to Waitrose and then a further five minutes to the town centre.We also love the fact that the town is unspoilt and you can still go to a traditional butchers, greengrocers or bakers.
