" 5 bed semi detached period house with many original features, 2 receptions, plus study, 2 conservatories, bathroom and two shower rooms, gardens and no forward chain

Details AGENTS NOTE
Every once in a while we are lucky enough to bring to market an expectional period house which excels on every level, this is one such house. Situated in a lovely West End location within easy reach of the town centre and walking distance of both mainline railway stations this five bedroom semi detached home is in immaculate condition, brimming with period details and has been renovated with a real flair and respect for its heritage.

Built over three floors the property has two gracious reception rooms with magnificent fireplaces, deep skirting boards and attractive cornicing. These rooms are seperated by double doors which when open create a truly wonderful space for parties and entertaining. The house has an elegant hallway and part panelled staircase and some very fine examples of stained glass in two of the windows and the front entrance door. The use of stripped wooden flooring and doors in some of the rooms reinforces the period feel of the property and also add to its charm.

Of particular note is the amazing kitchen/family room which provides plenty of space for the creative cook as well as for informal or family dining. The property also has two conservatories, one off the study and the other off the kitchen. Both of them have views over the pretty garden and would be perfect places to relax with the newspapers or to read a book.

The same period detailing, including fireplaces, also appears in the principal bedrooms, although there is a nod towards the more contemporary in two of the three bathrooms which have clean lines and modern shower units and sanitary ware. Usefully, as well as the bathrooms there are two additional W.C's in the property and if its storage that concerns you then dont worry, the three cellar rooms will take all those items that you dont have an everyday use for.

In our view it is rare to see a West End house in Folkestone that has had its potential so fully realised. This property although having lots of period charm and features also provides incredibly comfortable, flexible and sociable living spaces. What's more all the hard work has been done for you and you can simply unpack and move right in. The property is being sold with no forward chain and we would highly recommend an internal inspection so as to truly appreciate this wonderful home.
