" A cottage in Folkestone.. well that's a great start, because there's not many of them available. For those of you who crave something different and have had your fill of Victorian terraces look no further.
Maryann cottage is available with no chain and is located just past the corner of Ashley Avenue and Shaftsbury Avenue.
It's a two bedroom home with two great size rooms on the ground floor, the kitchen in particular is big enough to accommodate a table and chairs and has lots of cupboard and work top space. The lounge is an unconventional shape but can easily accommodate a 3 piece suite without it dominating the room.
When you hear the term cottage, you often think of small rooms and small windows which result in them being quite dark inside. Nothing could be further from the truth here, not only are the rooms a great size but the property is light and airy throughout.
At the rear of the ground floor is a small outside space, open from the kitchen this small courtyard area allows for a little "al fresco" dining.
The first floor has two bedrooms - one double and an oversized single room, there is also a family bathroom.
Cheriton has always been popular because it has great schools and shops and two mainline train stations with a fast link into London. Ideal for commuters, first time buyers or investors this is something a little different, and we look forward to showing you ourselves at your earliest convenience.

It's a great house because of its size and it's location. You're never more than a walk from anything here - there's every kind of cuisine, banks and supermarkets; there's not a more convenient place to live within the area.
The cottage is not like most cottages, it has a first floor bathroom and good size rooms. It's more a cottage in title than design - but I loved it as soon as I walked in because it was just a little different to everything around it. I've let it out very successfully for the past few years but the time has come for me to -reluctantly- let it go as it's too small for myself and my family.
