" Living in the midst of Deal with its breath taking architecture, two castles, and 'postcard' seafront is a privilege in itself. And you wont have to wander far from the doorstep of this home before you stumble across one of the many speciality food shops, delicatessens or local restaurants. For a more relaxed evening, perhaps just a stroll along Deal pier (pier of the year 2008) or maybe just lose yourself in the winding streets of the conservation area. On returning home from your stroll, you will have a choice of where to sit and enjoy the evening. Perhaps warming you toes in front of the fire in the cosy lounge or maybe a coffee in the conservatory while you look out to the family garden.It is this garden that really convinced Mr & Mrs Collins that this was the home for them, they were totally amazed that they could be in the centre of town and yet still enjoy a private outside space to make the most of the summer with friends and family. In short, this is a home that has a certain magic in its 'homeliness' and whilst the front porch may do something to detract from its external charm, you'll be missing a real gem if you let that stop you from walking through the front door.

As we stepped from the entrance porch into the lounge, we just knew that this home had something special. As we went from room to room, we were completely struck by its warmth of character and the quality of the interior. We have taken this interior a step further by revamping the kitchen and turning the conservatory into a garden room

(previously a utility). It is from this we often sit of an evening, looking out over the secluded garden. The only other additions have been a period style fireplace to the dining room, a fantastic focal point for our dinner parties. It is only that a home in a particular area has caught our eye that we are even considering this move!
