" This is a tale of two sides of the property, from the front you can see a detached chalet bungalow elevated above the Margate Road with its access to all transport links. From the rear you step into a 80ft rear garden that feels tranquil, peaceful and an oasis to wildlife.
The moment you step through the front door you notice the entrance hall is flooded with light from the stained glass window to the side and from here you can look right through the property to the garden.
The really impressive kitchen/breakfast room, which really is the hub of the house, which any budding chef will enjoy cooking and working in and the skylights in the work area of the kitchen flood more light into this area. This light and airy feel continues in what we believe is the best room in the house, a large conservatory which overlooks that stunning garden. You can see yourself sitting there looking out into the garden watching the many birds, squirrels and other wildlife enjoying roaming and foraging in the garden. The garden itself has a country feel to it and it feels as if you are in an out of town location rather than close to all the amenities. When we pulled up outside we almost wanted to turn round and go home as it did not seem to be the peaceful quiet location we were looking for, but as we were there we thought we had better take a look!! We were very glad we did! It's fair to say that the front does not do justice to this house but what awaits you at the back was just amazing. Whilst the house size was always what we were looking for it was not until we stepped out into the garden that we were sold hook, line and sinker. The inside needed to be gutted, however that was just what we were looking for and now we have finally finished we would like to do it all again at an even bigger property. We have loved living here.
