" When Peter was looking for a house in The Village, he wanted the best house with the best outlook, in the best position. This beautiful three double bedroom townhouse, matched all these requirements.The property is situated in a prominent position overlooking the well-manicured central communal gardens and has well planned accommodation over three floors, ideal for a family lifestyle or for someone who likes to entertain.The open plan living/dining room and kitchen, on the ground floor, provide an excellent space for relaxing or dinner parties with double doors opening out onto a lovely urban garden, from which you can gain access to the garage and parking space. The formal lounge is on the first floor, giving access to a wonderful balcony, where you can enjoy a cup of tea or glass of wine whilst looking across the development. Also on this floor are the third bedroom and family bathroom. The master bedroom and en-suite shower room, together with the second bedroom, are found on the second floor.The Village has a leisure complex, Tesco supermarket, doctors surgery, veterinary surgery and nursery, as well as The Arc. Coulsdon Common, adjacent to the cul-de-sac, offers access to the open countryside of Happy Valley. There are also schools for children of all ages in both the state and private sectors.

I first moved to The Village back in 2001, hoping to find a better balance between easy access to London and a more relaxed, less hectic, home environment. Living here has met all my expectations and more - with everything you could need within a 5 minute walk, from the supermarket to the nursery and from the local gym to great open spaces for walking on the long summer evenings. Anzio Gardens is a wonderfully friendly place with the green being a focal point where everyone catches up in the evenings. There are also regular events such as the annual fireworks party. Sometimes it's nice just to relax at the end of the day though - the balcony has become the favourite spot for my wife and I to enjoy a glass of wine and the views at sunset.
