" Coney Byes is a substantial four bedroom detached property set in the heart of its own secluded grounds in the sought after village of White Colne. This unique family home has benefitted from significant modernisation throughout, with many rooms being refurbished in their entirity whilst preserving the charm of the architect's original layout.

The generously proportioned rooms offer a felixible family lifestyle with a large living room, the fireplace has recently been replaced with a 13kw log burner. The adjoining family room leads onto a significant dining room which is also currently used as a home office. The kitchen/breakfast room was completely refurbished in the last year, also with the addition of solid oak flooring throughout the kitchen, utility room and walk-in shelved pantry.

The solid oak winding staircase leads up to the master bedroom with a single W/C to the right. The master en-suite has recently been refurbished to a high standard. Two further double bedrooms are found on the first floor with large built in wardrobes as well as the family bathroom and a study/computer room with open wooden stairs leading up to the second floor.

The fourth bedroom on the second floor has been refurbished in its entirity and leads onto the attic via a hidden door in the wood pannelling. Additional storage is accessable within the eaves of the roof. This dual aspect room offers fantastic living space.

The established gardens of some 0.75 acres surrounding Coney Byes are further enhanced by elevated views from the patio and all three floors across the pituresque Colne Valley. The house sits in the original grounds of Chaulkney House and is accessed via a private leafy lane which is shared with the now residential home.

The driveway provides parking for numerous vehicles and leads onto the double garage. A significant greenhouse offers scope for restoration with mature vines feeding in, with an annual crop equating to 20-30 bottles per year! Both the garage and greenhouse have had mains electricity points installed when the house was rewired in 2010. The patio in the top part of the garden sits on a filled-in swimming pool which could be a good project for future renovation.
