" The Granary is a fine example of a converted Grade II Listed 18th Century barn and cart lodge with weather-boarded exteriors over a timber frame. Located away from the village thoroughfare, the property has a peaceful setting and adjoins gently rolling Essex countryside.
The existing accommodation already offers a degree of flexibility and plans exist for further accommodation if required. Within the original barn is a main reception room and formal dining area that has a feature brick chimney breast, lots of glazing to allow in natural light and a granary hatch in the ceiling showing evidence of a previous era. The kitchen/breakfast room is well fitted with integrated appliances. The first floor of the barn is within a 'Gambrel Roof' that gives better headroom and the feeling of space continues throughout two bedrooms, an en suite and a family bathroom. The other wing has three further bedrooms, an en suite, another shower room and a family room. The Granary is not really seen from the country road and has a lengthy private driveway with an expanse of adjacent lawn and abutting farmland. There is a private garden surrounding the house, mostly laid to lawn but with paved terrace areas. There is plenty of off street parking and a double garage with room above (this would form part of the extension plans). The total plot extends to 0.90 of an acre.Directions

From Great Dunmow travel along the B1256 in the direction of Braintree, turning left at the Palm Trees restaurant towards Great Saling. At this village, turn right and follow for about a mile, turning left at the first T junction and then right at the second T junction. A further mile on, turn right (signposted Congretional Church) and follow to Jaspers Green. The driveway for The Granary will be on your right hand side directly opposite a large white house called Jaspers. "
