" The Willows is a substantial house dating originally from the 1930s but has been extended in recent years and totally refurbished to provide accommodation and fittings of the highest standards and all to a demanding specification from Shaker kitchen, the under floor heating, Junckers hardwood flooring to the Grohe shower units. In addition the gardens are a feature of the property, designed in 1967 by Vernon Russell-Smith and extensively stocked with flower and herbaceous borders, shrubs, roses and a variety of climbing plants. There are several useful outbuildings, two summer houses, formal ornamental pond area and wrought iron gates lead to adjoining meadowland and lead down to a tributary of the River Chelmer.Directions

From Great Dunmow take the B184 north towards Thaxted and then the first left turning to Little Easton. Drive to the centre of the village and turn right into Manor Road almost immediately opposite The Stag public house. The Willows will be found on the left hand side after a short distance. "
