" Large plots for bungalows or houses are not particularly common in our area. This property is an excellent size plot and in an affordable position. Benefitting from the addition of an outbuilding and log cabin within the plot, makes this excellent accommodation space. The property is considered to be in a very good condition and could be ideal as a downsizing property from somebody coming from a larger house. Alternatively it could suit the buyer that feels that a bungalow is the right thing for them to do at this stage. This is all on one floor, so potentially subject to the normal planning consents it could allow to increase the property by going up into the loft area. Planning office should be able to give to advice on this. The vendors are keen to sell. With Ongar being only eight miles from Epping, Epping offers a bustling market town with its High Street, weekly market, shops, banks, restaurants etc.. and of course the central line. Alternatively there are other locations in and around the area of Ongar that would afford additional shopping, such as retain outlets and major supermarkets. Ongar itself does have Tesco's Express and alsp Sainsbury's. A lot of boutique style shops within the High Street offers that very much community type feel. The road network from Ongar is exceptionally giving you good access back into Chelmsford, Brentwood and of course to the M11, Epping, London etc...

We bought the property because the location was absolutely ideal and the property at that time needed work doing to it and that's exactly what we were looking for. We stripped absolutely everything and started with a blank canvas. we were already living in Ongar and had been for about six years before buying this particular property. It has a very nice cross section of people and is a nice area to live. What have we improved just about everything, roof, windows, the electrics, plumbing, decoration and of course landscaping, we think it is a property where you would need to nothing to the property to move in and we think it offers exceptional quality and visitors parking.
