Full description:
Elms is situated on the edge of the village of Allens Green, in an attractive location with farmland to the front and back. This is an area particularly popular with commuters as there is easy access to a mainline station at Harlow which is about four miles away and a similar distance from junction 7 of the M11. It is also very convenient for schools and facilities in Sawbridgeworth and Bishops Stortford. The house was constructed by the present owners parents? in the 1950s and has well-proportioned rooms with good ceiling heights and an oil fired heating system. Planning consent was granted in 2015 for a two storey extension to the property to provide a large kitchen/breakfast room and an additional bedroom suite.

Outside, beside the house there is a driveway which provides generous parking and leads to a double garage. To the front of the property there is a pleasant lawn with trees and shrubs and behind, a terrace, brick retaining wall, lawns and shrub borders. From Bishops Stortford proceed on the B1004 towards Much Hadham and almost opposite the golf club turn left towards Perry Green and Green Tye. Follow this country lane for about one mile and at a crossroads turn left and follow the road for about one mile, then turn right into Allens Green. At a 90 degree left hand corner, follow the road round to the left and the property is about the seventh or eighth one along on the left hand side. "
