From Bishop?s Stortford proceed to Hatfield Heath and here turn right on the B183 towards Sheering. In Sheering turn left at the War Memorial and follow the road into open countryside to Newman?s End. Continue through Newman?s End signposted towards Matching Tye and in the centre of Matching Tye turn right. After approximately quarter of a mile turn left signposted to Carters Green. After a further quarter of a mile on a sharp right hand bend the entrance to Walnut Tree Barn will be found on the left hand side "
