Location  
Farndon is a picturesque village and civil parish in the authority of Cheshire West and Chester. It is located on the banks of the River Dee, south of Chester, and close to the border of Wales. There are several buildings of historical interest including the Grade I listed bridge over the Dee and at least sixteen Grade II structures. There are also other buildings of interest not included in listed status which can also be viewed walking around the village including the three public houses, Farndon Hall and a former Victorian school house. There are pleasant riverside walks, places to eat and drink, and a range of other facilities situated on the high street. Paul Burrell's (former butler to Diana, Princess of Wales) Flower Shop is also in the village.
