" Pekin Cottage was built in 2009 of a traditional oak frame construction with rendered and weatherboarded elevations under a tiled roof. Further land has been purchased to increase the garden size. The reception lobby has a turning staircase leading to the first floor. The kitchen/breakfast room is L-shaped with an extensive range of base and wall cabinets, a butler sink, electric hob, oven, dishwasher, washing machine and exposed ceiling timbers. The sitting/dining room is divided into two areas, has a feature brick fireplace with wood burner, solid oak flooring and the dining area has a vaulted ceiling and glazed oak double doors to the garden terrace. The first floor offers a good size landing with an attractive fitted cabinet and bookcase. The master bedroom has a range of bespoke wardrobes, tallboy dresser and an en suite shower room. There are 2 further bedrooms; one with a large storage cupboard and a family bathroom.
Outside, the driveway provides parking to the front for 2 vehicles and the side driveway leads to the former garage with further parking. The garage has been divided into two sections; a large store room

(approx. 10' 10" x 10') and, to the rear, is a playroom/study (approx. 10' 2" x 10'). The rear garden has been professionally landscaped, is laid to lawn with mature tree and shrub planting with attractive paved terracing, divided into three sections with a raised decked area. The formal gardens are about 68ft long and also incorporate a large timber framed shed (11' 9" x 7' 9") with power and light connected. Additional land (just over 200ft) has now been purchased and has been post-and-wired with some early tree planting and vegetable beds in-situ.Directions

From Saffron Walden proceed out of the town passing the Saffron Walden County High School and take the next left hand turn - signposted to Wendens Ambo and Audley End Station. At the T-junction turn left, then immediately right - signposted to Wendens Ambo. Continue into the village and take the 2nd turning on the left into Duck Street. Proceed for about 1/2 a mile and the property will be found on the right hand side by the sharp left hand bend. "
