Full description:
61 Ashdon Road is a detached, brick built property under a tiled roof with part-weatherboarded elevations and sealed unit Upvc double glazing throughout. The current owners have extended the property at ground floor level and have created a fourth en suite bedroom over the double garage. Accommodation comprises an entrance hall leading to the sitting room with bay window and fireplace housing a wood burner, dining room with box-bay window with bench seat and stairs lead to a basement room, ideal as an office or gym etc. The kitchen is fitted with a range of wall and base units incorporating a Kenwood range with gas hob and electric ovens and a Whirlpool American style fridge-freezer. There is plumbing for a dishwasher and adjacent is a utility room which houses the new gas fired heating boiler, with plumbing for a washing machine and vent for tumble-dryer and additional storage cupboards. Steps lead down to the dining area of the kitchen with four sets of Velux windows and bi-folding doors to the garden. A useful rear entrance lobby has an adjacent cloakroom. The first floor landing provides access to the large loft space and leads to the three bedrooms; one with airing cupboard and the family bathroom which is fully tiled and fitted with a white suite with bath and separate shower.

Outside, the well stocked, south facing rear garden (approx. 45ft x 25ft) commences with a large terrace with garden shed and steps lead down to the lawned area with raised planters and a pear and plum tree. A path leads to the detached garage (17' 2" x 16' 8") and stairs lead to bedroom 4 above and an en suite shower room. This area is served by electric heating. In front of the garage there is off-street parking for two vehicles.

At the mini roundabout turn right into Ashdon Road and proceed along with The Common on your right hand side. No. 61 will be found on the right hand side just before Dame Bradbury's School on the left and by the corner of Shepherds Way. "
