" A delightful cottage originally built in the late 17th century, tastefully modernised throughout yet retaining traditional character and providing a charming sitting room, fully fitted dining kitchen, modern conservatory, three good bedrooms and bathroom. There are full central heating double glazing and outside are a very manageable garden (south west facing), shared driveway and parking spaces. Since purchasing the property in 2007 the vendors have refurbished the bathroom, laid new carpets, repainted both internally and externally, installed a new window and fitted new fencing. Overall, an inspection is thoroughly recommended. The cottage forms part of this small complex of similar cottages situated in this must sought after hamlet in the popular triangle of countryside between Wigton, Penrith and Carlisle. From the front there is a view across towards the Caldbeck fells with the Lake District National Park starting at Caldbeck itself. Rosley is in effect a scattered community although there are a well supported church and village hall and also a thriving primary school just a mile up the road at the Carwath hamlet of the parish.
