In addition to the lovely walks along the South Downs and beside the River Ouse, you can also take the children along to the Newhaven Fort and a World War 2 and Napololinic experience or Fun Park at nearby Paradise Park and meet the dinosaurs. Nearby are the County Town of Lewes or bigger shopping centre in Brighton. There is a mainline railway station in Newhaven which takes you to Lewes or Brighton and onto London. Gatwick is about an hours drive. Newhaven features a County Football Club and a rugby Team. "
