" The owner of this property moved here over 12 years ago and there is no record of anyone moving from this close since then! The close contains only five houses and the property is arguably on the best plot. Most of the rooms overlook playing fields including the master bedroom which is also dual aspect giving great views and plenty of light. In fact the owner chose the house due to its position and the views. The kitchen is of high quality being fitted in 2009 with NEFF appliances and the conservatory was added in 2007 adding to the already generous living accommodation. The garden, although not huge, is of low maintenance and gives direct access into the playing fields making it great for families with children.
The lounge measures approximately 17’ x15’ and is to the rear of the house so also enjoys the views and would be great for entertaining.East Hoathly has all you would expect from a vibrant village including an array of clubs and associations and also has a regular bus route into Uckfield and surrounding towns. Uckfield has a mainline station so is perfect for commuting and the seaside town of Lewes is in easy reach, too.

What the Owner says:

When we were looking for a house we wanted to find something that had good views in a quiet road but also had good size rooms. The third bedroom is a good size and we have found having two reception rooms really useful, too. We added the conservatory in 2007 and refitted the kitchen in 2009 by a local firm with all NEFF appliances so we think the next people will be able to settle in without any hassle. We also replaced the garage door and roof in 2004 and landscaped the rear garden in 2007. Our grandchildren love being able to get straight from the garden into the playing fields where there is a great children’s play area.
