The property is conveniently situated in the heart of the picturesque village High Street with its day to day and specialist shopping, St. Margaret's Church, post office, art and craft galleries, pubs and museum. Ditchling still retains the atmosphere of an English country village with its renowned cultural and community life. The main line station at Hassocks (journey time to London approximately 55 minutes, Brighton approximately 12 minutes) is about 2 miles. Brighton and the South Coast are about 8 miles and Gatwick Airport and the Cross Channel ferry at Newhaven are about half and hours motoring time. Leisure facilities in the area include walking and riding in the glorious countryside around, golf, sailing, riding, show jumping, and theatres in Brighton.
