DESCRIPTION AND CONSTRUCTION:
Often described as one of the most imposing and historically important secular buildings within Ringwood's Market Place, the property's Grade II listing has ensured it will remain testimony to Ringwood's Yesteryear. 
  
Believed to date Circa 1720, this brick building faced with yellow mathematical tiles of five bays with a Venetian window in the centre, at first floor level. In addition to a crowning one bay pediment, a parapet and hipped roof, the front elevation canopy is supported by four ionic columns. This form of architecture gave the building a distinctive appearance especially when the opening of Stephen Tunks Ringwood and Hampshire Bank took place in 1801. The restored facade ensures the attention to detail and heritage of the building remains. Internally, the presentation of each of the four, self-contained, apartments is designed to create a unique ambience unrivalled within the area. 
  
SITUATION:
The property occupies one of the most prominent positions within the centre of Ringwood's historic Market Place and is testimony to the many changes within society over the past two hundred and fifty years. Transport links via the A.31, A.338 and M.27 which provide rapid access to the centres of Bournemouth (12 miles), Salisbury (18 miles), Ports of Poole (13 miles), Southampton (22 miles) and London (80 miles) ensures that Ringwood centre will remain a vital route to all points of the compass. Additionally, recreational pursuits, live entertainment and a variety of shopping needs are readily available within the surrounding area.
