" A very attractive two bedroom detached bungalow in a commanding position and offering potential to convert the attic if further accommodation is required. The property has the advantage of an en-suite to the rear bedroom. Within a very short walk of the local shops and bus stop.

The historic town of Christchurch is situated on the shores of its own spectacular natural harbour at the confluence of the rivers Stour and Avon. Close to the magnificent Dorset World Heritage Coast and the tranquil New Forest National Park, Christchurch is only a short drive from Bournemouth and Poole. The area is steeped in history. Founded in the 7th century, the town was originally named Twynham but became known as Christchurch following the construction of the priory in 1094. The town centre has an eclectic mix of shops and restaurants with market day on a Monday. The Property A traditional style bungalow built in 1964 and retaining some of the original features including the parquet flooring in some rooms and the fire place surround in the sitting room. Upon entering the hall way which is of a good size, the living accommodation is to the right and the bedrooms to the left. The sitting room and dining area have four windows all together making this area very light and bright. The kitchen has direct access to the garden with a range of both low and level units. The master bedroom is at the front and has fitted wardrobes whilst the second bedroom is at the rear and benefits from a modern white ensuite shower room. The family bathroom is cream. The large attic space would lend itself to being converted into additional accommodation (subject to planning consent). The Outside The bungalow commands a prominent position on a corner plot with a range of shrubs, lawn and trees to the front. There is an integral garage with light and power and parking to the side for approximately three cars. The rear garden is to the side of the property, is partly laid to lawn and has a summer house in the top corner. There is a shed and a potting area. In addition there is the original boiler room accessed from the garden. The garden can be accessed directly from the kitchen along a walkway which has flower borders to the right. Summary Overall a rather special property in a very enviable position in St Catherines Hill, access to the woods is a stones' throw away whilst the local shops are a couple of minutes walk. Early viewing is highly recommended to fully appreciate the scope this bungalow has to offer. Route to View Please ask the Office for directions.
