" Victoria Cottage, Acton, Langton Matravers

This substantial detached Purbeck stone cottage is quietly situated in a rural location within the hamlet of Acton, close to open country and a short distance from the popular Jurassic Coastline.

The property was originally constructed as a pair of semi detached houses, although converted into one single dwelling in more recent times. The property is in need of complete renovation throughout and has great potential to be converted back into two residential dwellings, or to create additional accommodation on the first floor, subject to obtaining planning consent.

Acton lies 1.5miles to the West of the village of Langton Matravers and a similar distance from the sea at Dancing Ledge. The property is some 2.5 miles in distance from the seaside resort of Swanage and is some 9 miles in distance from the market town of Wareham, which has main line rail links to London Waterloo (approx 2.5 hours). Much of the area surrounding the village is classified as being of Outstanding Natural Beauty incorporating the Jurassic Coast, part of the World Heritage Coastline.

The ground floor accommodation currently comprises two reception rooms (one with double height ceiling) and a Kitchen. The first floor is made up of two further rooms and a Bathroom. The garden is situated to the front of the cottage and is mostly laid to lawn with mature shrubbery border, small stone outbuilding, timber garden shed and underground store.
