" This superior 18th Century house is situated in a delightful position in the centre of the picturesque village of Langton Matravers, a short distance from open country. According to a local village historian the original property is thought to date back to the mid 1700s with a substantial extension having been added possibly around 1900. The current owners have added a further extension to the rear in more recent times. The property stands in a Conservation Area and has attractive frontal elevations of natural Purbeck stone with cement rendering to the side and rear, under a pitched roof covered with stone tiles and some slate to the side elevation.
