" This period terrace Purbeck stone cottage, Grade II Listed dating back over 200 years, is situated in one of the oldest areas of Swanage, known as Herston, about one and quarter miles from the town centre, and well served by a local convenience store/Post Office and eateries.

The cottage offers characterful accommodation with beamed ceilings, Purbeck stone fireplace, coupled with unexpected detailing of display alcoves and cupboards and has good potential to create a delightful home.

Swanage lies at the eastern tip of the Isle of Purbeck delightfully situated between the Purbeck Hills. It has a fine, safe, sandy beach, and is an attractive mixture of old stone cottages and more modern properties, all of which blend in well with the peaceful surroundings. To the south is the Durlston Country Park renowned for being the gateway to the Jurassic Coast and World Heritage Coastline. The popular conurbation of Bournemouth and Poole is also within easy reach via the Sandbanks ferry.
