The village of Henstridge is located approximately 7 miles from Sherborne. The village has a number of shops, a parish church, school and public houses. The Historic Abbey town of Sherborne has a variety of shops, banks, doctors, dentist, veterinary surgery, hotels, public houses and sporting facilities including Golf Course. The main line (London/Waterloo) train station is also in Sherborne,alternatively there is also a station at Templecombe which is only 2 miles from Henstridge.

The village is also conveniently located for access to the A303 which is approximately 6 miles towards Wincanton.
