Here you can visit Glastonbury Lake Village, Glastonbury Abbey and Glastonbury Tor. The area is also famous for the Glastonbury Festival which takes place in nearby Pilton every year. An old Motte and Baily castle known as Fenny Castle still stands not far from Coxley. You can also visit the Wookey Hole Caves, now a major tourist attraction in the area. For refreshment you can visit either of the two local pubs, The Coxley Vinyard Hotel or The Pound Inn. The Coxley Vinyard is a working winery, producing 6 to 800 bottles of wine a year from their own grapes.
