" Highfield House is a substantial Victorian home situated on the southern fringes of the city approximately one and a half miles from the centre. This spacious home offers retained period features and well proportioned accommodation for the growing family. A further major feature is the good public transport links, popular schools in both the state and private sector very close by and a variety of amenities at Bear Flat.
Stone pillars lead to a front garden enclosed by tall evergreen hedging. This area provides plenty of parking, turning space and leads to the front entrance hall. Recently decorated the vestibule has impressive glazed doors opening into the reception hall with polished floor boards and corniced ceiling. This hall and central staircase is the pivot for the three reception rooms and the kitchen/breakfast room. The drawing room and dining room both benefit from tall corniced ceilings and large bay windows with a particular fine marble fireplace in the latter. The sitting room benefits from tall double doors opening out onto a veranda with steps down to the garden; a wonderful feature. Situation
The popular area of Bear Flat lies on the southern slopes of the city commanding pleasant views across the city. Bath itself offers an array of cultural and leisure amenities and is interspersed with parks and public areas. Bath has excellent communication links with the city of Bristol, and is approximately 11 miles from Junction 18 of the M4. There are train services from Bath Spa Station. (London Paddington is approximately 90 minutes).

The garden to the front of the house is enclosed by high hedges providing privacy and provides plenty of parking and turning space.
