" This is a truly impressive character property that is situated in the charming village of Corsley nestled between Warminster and Frome on the Wiltshire / Somerset border. The original part of the property is believed to date back to the early 1700's with the current owners having substantially extended in the early 2000's to provide over 3700 square feet of accommodation and storage.

This substantial family home really has been sympathetically improved and combines a modern feel with the retention of many period features. The Property comprises of:

An entrance hallway which encompasses the staircase and provides access to the sitting room, family room and leads into the open plan modern kitchen / diner and living space which is in excess of fifty feet in length. This space has natural stone flooring with underfloor heating. The kitchen is modern with a range cooker, stainless steel Belfast sink and granite worktops. There is also a hatch in the floor which provides access down to the cellar.

The cellar runs under the old part of the house and has the original vaulted brick ceiling and lime washed walls.

The sitting room has an open fire with stone surround and tiled hearth. The family room has a multi-fuel stove in the original recess with stone hearth.

The utility room is generously proportioned and houses the oil fired boiler as well as providing additional worktops, sink and plumbing for a washing machine. There is a separate W/C and wash hand basin.

On the first floor there is a generous landing which makes an ideal study / office area. The master bedroom boasts a dressing area and en-suite with walk in shower. Bedrooms two and three are linked with adjoining doors which can be closed for privacy as both can also be accessed separately. Bedroom two also features and en-suite shower room.  There are two further double bedrooms as well as the family bathroom.

Externally the front boundary is hedged offering privacy from the road. To the side there is driveway parking which provides access to the detached garage which benefits from both power and lighting. There is a mature rear garden which features a number of fruit trees, an oak framed greenhouse as well as a vegetable plot, herbaceous borders and flower beds. There is a chicken coop and run which could easily provide additional lawn if required.
