" This brilliant home is a great opportunity. Bathford supports a busy village life with local shops, primary school, a pub and is only five miles east of the City of Bath. Local goods are provided by the community shop which also has a caf? for light bites and supports Toddler groups. The successful Church of England Primary School caters for the younger members of the community. The Crown at the bottom of Bathford Hill has a fine choice of refreshment. Village life extends to sport and includes an active rugby and cricket club which supports youth teams. Kingsdown Golf Club is also at the top of the hill. On the fringe of the village are beautiful views from a Site of Special Scientific Interest at Brown's Folly which includes an 1848 tower. Bath and Bristol are popular commutes from the village and the M4 can be accessed via A46 to Junction 18 or Junction 17 at Chippenham.
