The village itself provides a number of local shops and services including a highly regarded local primary school but is only some 3 miles from the City Centre. Neighbouring villages of Batheaston and Bathford provide further daily amenities as well as a regular bus service in to the City. In addition there is excellent commuter links with convenient access to the M4 motorway (junction 18).
