Leaving Redditch via the Bromsgrove Highway, take the first slip road exit signposted Webheath. At the Middle Piece Drive island take the first exit, continuing onto the Birchfield Road. Passing 
Feckenham Road to your right, the subject property will be found to the right hand side. 

The land for Lychgate Cottage was purchased in 1918 from the Trustees of Charity Lands and Sir Josiah Mason's Orphanage and Almshouses.  The cottage was then built in 1923 and has only had two owners. It is believed that the cottage's name was chosen as the property sits opposite the lychgate in Rectory Road which is a listed structure gifted to the parish by Baroness Windsor in 1861
