There is a church in Compton Beauchamp, the next door Hamlet, and a pub in the nearby village of Woolstone. The house is well placed for the market towns of Wantage, Hungerford and Marlborough which provide a good range of retail and leisure facilities. The larger commercial centres of Swindon, Oxford and Newbury are within easy driving distance.
