Location

The pretty village of Nettlebed is situated approximately c.5 miles north west of Henley on Thames, in the Chilterns Area of Outstanding Naturel Beauty. It boasts a primary school, two interior design shops, a local store post office, caf and the well regarded White Hart Hotel and restaurant. More extensive shopping and recreational facilities can be found in the nearby historic riverside town of Henley on Thames, offering a fine variety of shops, public houses and restaurants as well as a Waitrose and a hospital.

The town of Reading also offers further shops and amenities, together with a fast rail service to London with direct access on the Elizabeth line to Bond Street, Paddington and Canary Wharf. The M4 junction 8 9 and the M40 junction 6 are both within close proximity and provide access to Heathrow and the national motorway network.

There is an excellent and varied selection of schooling in the area including Rupert House, The Dragon, Moulsford and Cranford House, as well as sporting facilities including rowing on the Thames and a number of fine local golf courses at Huntercombe, Badgemore Park and Henley. The surrounding countryside offers extensive walking and riding through a well linked network of public footpaths and bridleways
