"Traditional stone barn with consent to convert into camping barn lying within attractive meadow and pasture, including Scar House Force waterfall. In all about 7.14 acres 2.89 hectares .

Description

The sale represents an extremely rare opportunity to purchase a traditional dales stone barn with the benefit of planning consent for conversion into a camping barn, occupying an elevated position with far reaching views down Swaledale. The barn lies within 7 acres of meadow and pasture land and includes Scar House Force, a waterfall on the upper reaches of the River Swale.

Upper Swaledale is known for its traditional stone built villages, wildflower meadows and dramatic moorland, and is characterised by the River Swale flowing through it, and is a popular destination for walkers, cyclists and visitors to the Yorkshire Dales National Park. The sale provides a rare opportunity not only for those seeking to own a small piece of this heritage landscape, but also for buyers wanting to take advantage of the opportunity to convert the stone barn into a camping barn primarily for cyclists and walkers. Ownership of the waterfall and part of the river makes this a truly unique opportunity.
