Penshurst is an historic village located in a valley upon the northern slopes of the Kentish Weald in the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and is full of old timber framed buildings and converted Oast houses which attract many a visitor to the village. Penshurst Place, known haunt of King Henry VIII is of particular interest. The village is also home to one of England s oldest cricket pitches.

Penshurst is a thriving village with an excellent primary school, church, village hall, Leicester Arms public house, doctors surgery, tea room and store post office with fuel pumps. The village is situated between Tonbridge and Tunbridge Wells and just 6 miles south of Sevenoaks. Tunbridge Wells, approximately a 15 minute drive, offers a wide variety of restaurants, shops and leisure amenities.
