Description

"A stunning newly refurbished and significantly extended THREE DOUBLE BEDROOM detached home in a popular location. The property has undergone an impressive program of refurbishment by the current owners to create a fantastic modern family home. This includes a rear, two storey extension making all the bedrooms comfortable double rooms and a beautiful kitchen dining family room on the ground floor. All of the windows have been changed in the last 12 months, a new heating system installed, updated electrical consumer unit and landscaped low maintenance garden to the side and rear.
The property is located in an ideal spot, only a short walk to the High School and train station on the Buxton to Manchester line. The town centre is also within easy reach and there are nearby footpaths to explore the surrounding countryside.

In a little more detail, the accommodation on offer comprises an entrance porch with cloaks storage opening into the entrance hall with staircase leading to the first floor. The lounge has a double glazed window to the front with opening into the kitchen family room. This is an incredible space, the real hub of the home extending to over 6 metres in length. There are a range of cream Shaker style wall and base units with solid oak worktop over, and large island unit with olive green units, matching oak worktop and breakfast bar. The kitchen includes integrate appliances, plenty of lounge and dining space, skylight window and double glazed sliding doors opening into the garden and allowing plenty of natural light into the space.
The first floor has also been extended and includes the landing, bedroom one and two which are generous double bedrooms and looking out over the rear garden. The family bathroom is a quality modern suite comprising WC, wash basin in vanity unit, bath with shower over and glass screen and attractive tiled splash backs.
Externally there are two driveways providing off road parking to both sides of the house with one leading to the detached garage. A small front garden and pathway lead to the front door. The rear garden has a beautifully paved patio seating area to the rear and a raised artificial grass lawn to the side.
LOCATION
Chapel en le Frith, known as The Capital of the Peak nestles in an upland valley in the High Peak and is surrounded by dramatic landscape of gritstone ridges and shapely hills. The town takes its name from a small chapel built in 1225 by the keepers of the Royal Forest that is now the Church of St Thomas Becket, where 1,500 Scottish soldiers were imprisoned during the Civil War. The historic town centre also features a traditional marketplace which still has its original renowned stocks which the local cafe takes its name. A common phrase you here many resident say is "We are so lucky to live here" even after living in the town for decades. That is further, solid evidence, if ever it was needed that Chapel en le Frith and its surrounding towns and villages are an excellent place to set up home.
