Description

"A very pretty house in the centre of the village with a secure driveway and parking as well as proportioned rooms which have been thoughtfully designed and maintained throughout. Accessed from a formal porchway from the front of the property there is a hallway with access to the main reception rooms on the ground floor. The good sized sitting room has exposed beams, a fireplace with a wood burner and is L shaped allowing for further seating or a dining table and chairs. The kitchen is the main family focal point in the house with walk in storage, base units, an Aga and a dual aspect allowing for an abundance of natural light. Both the playroom office and utility room are a generous size and have retained many feature period features. A cloakroom completes the ground floor.
On the first floor there is a main bedroom with a dressing room and an en suite modern shower room. There are a further three double bedrooms all with their own characteristics as well as a family bathroom. The annexe, at present used for storage, would be ideal for a home office or ancillary accommodation for friends and family. Overall a very comfortable family house in a great village position.

Outside

There is access from the front of the house via double gates through to ample off street parking. There are steps leading up to the main part of the garden with two areas of lawn, a gravelled terrace ideal for dining entertaining and raised beds for vegetables and flowers. There is a further paved area for seating as well as an area for chickens.
