Whittets Ait is a small island accessed across a vehicular bridge at the end of a quiet residential road. Adjoining the rivers Wey and Thames, the area offers some lovely towpath walks and there is a boatyard and moorings nearby. The island has a landscaped park and there is a lock connecting it to the mainland with a pretty keepers cottage.

Located on the South bank of the rivers Thames and Wey where the two rivers meet, Weybridge is an historic town that dates back to the Iron Age. Originally named after the wooden bridge over the river Wey used by pilgrims to the Chertsey Abbey, in the last 100 years Weybridge has become known for its aspirational, innovative and creative residents.
