"An executive five bedroom detached house, which is well presented throughout, occupying a lovely, secluded position within an exclusive cu de sac. The house was built circa 1985 and has recently been in the care of the current owners since 1992. You enter through the front porch into the entrance hall with a cloakroom, stairs rising to the first floor and doors opening to the principal rooms.
The living room is situated at the rear of the house and boasts a feature stone fireplace and enjoys natural light from the rear aspect, with a large window and patio doors to the rear, opening into the rear garden. Beside the living room is a good size study, with a window to the front aspect with a pleasant look back down Batts Park.
The Owners Love The current owners have loved the location and the ease of access to the Blackdown Hills, whilst still being a short distance from the County Town of Taunton, and the village of Trull . Their favourite thing about the house is the position and the tucked away position in the cu de sac, which is super private due to the treeline behind . They are particularly proud of the work they have done in the annexe which has been carefully planned to create the perfect multi generational living space or income generating opportunity .
The kitchen diner is located at the far side of the house and benefits from a variety of modern, white gloss wall and base units. These are finished with black work surfaces over and an inset sink. There are a variety of integrated appliances, which include a high level oven, second oven grill and a four ring electric hob with hood over, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. This is open plan to the dining room, with patio doors opening to the rear garden and there is also a breakfast bar in the kitchen in front the window, with a lovey view to the front aspect back up Batts Park and over the front garden.
A door opens to the annexe, with its own access from the front, an open plan living room with doors and a window to the rear aspect and is open plan to its own kitchen. A door opens to the bedroom, with fitted wardrobes and an ensuite shower room with shower, WC and washbasin.
Upstairs, on the first floor landing, there is an airing cupboard, two additional storage cupboards, loft access hatch and doors to the bedrooms and separate family bathroom and shower room. The master bedroom benefits from natural light from a large window to dual aspects and enjoys built in wardrobes and en suite facilities with a shower cubicle, washbasin and WC. There are four further double bedrooms, three of which have built in wardrobes, a family bathroom fitted with a four piece suite including WC, washbasin, bath and shower cubicle and a separate shower room with shower, WC and washbasin.
George Loves I was amazed by just how much space the house has! It is such a versatile property and could be adjusted to suit such a wide variety of lifestyles. The secluded position is also something I was extremely impressed with despite being so close to the town centre and the village of Trull. Not just the location, but the seclusion too! This house really does need to be seen to be appreciated.
Outside, to the house is surrounded by mature and secluded gardens, which enjoys a good degree of privacy at the rear, due to a well established tree line. Initially, there is a good size patio area, which leads onto a lawn. There is side gated access and two good size timber outbuildings that could be used for a variety of purposes. The frontage is then predominantly laid to lawn, with a driveway for two vehicles.
