Whitestones is a handsome and beautifully appointed four bedroom detached family home offering spacious and versatile accommodation which has been much improved by our current vendors over recent years.

Approached via a generous brick paved driveway the house sits comfortably within its generous plot with a pretty lawned front garden. The driveway continues to a single garage with a 2 roomed annexe with a WC.

A neat slate pathway with landscaped borders rises to a contemporary front door which gives access to the house, entering the property you continue into a spacious reception hallway with a beautiful travertine stone floor. A door from the hallway descends to the garage, and an internal door continues through to the kitchen breakfast room. The property also benefits from access to the back garden.

Enjoying a fantastic outlook to the front out over the surrounding countryside, the kitchen breakfast room is simply stunning, and a wonderful space for the family to congregate, it is fitted with a substantial range of quality contemporary units complimented by a contrasting quartz counter top. The kitchen features a superb island unit and breakfast bar for informal dining. There is a Rangemaster style cooker, a dishwasher as well as a walk in pantry, utility cupboard with plumbing for white goods and a boiler cupboard, there is also a small side garden room and plenty of space for a good size breakfast dining table. The ground floor also benefits from a large study office which is perfect for those who work from home.

Continue through into the inner hallway stairs rise to the first floor and there is access to a handy ground floor cloakroom with gorgeous geometric and glazed tiles. The property is blessed with three superb reception rooms two of which look out over the incredible rear garden. There is a delightful sitting room with a pretty bay window to the side and french doors to the rear, which also features a lovely feature fireplace with a cast iron wood burner with an Oak effect mantle over. Alongside the sitting room is a spacious dual aspect dining room with French doors leading to the garden and a superb tunnel fireplace which it shares with a delightful snug T.V room situated to the middle of the house.

Moving onto the first floor there is a good size landing with a linen cupboard with plenty of shelving and two well positioned light tunnels. The impressive master suite spans the entire width of the front of the house and has quality wardrobes, incredible views from the window, and a luxurious en suite shower room which is beautifully appointed with a walk in wet room, stone effect tiles, sink with vanity storage below, heated towel rail and quality white sanitaryware.

The further three bedrooms include a good sized double with exposed beams and fitted cupboard that looks out towards the Mendip Hills, another double room with eaves storage and a good sized single bedroom with a Velux window and more stunning views out over the village and surrounding countryside.

Completing the first floor accommodation is the family bathroom, another delightful room with a a stylish white suite including a feature contemporary bath, walk in shower, sink with vanity unit below and attractive stone effect tiles.

Outside, the garden at Whitestones is truly delightful and blessed with a lovely due south orientation. The garden is bounded on both sides by mature hedging and fencing, with a beautifully established flower border. To the rear of the house is a spectacular covered veranda which partially covers a fantastic sun terrace, from here a footpath meanders through the lawn to a second seating area at the rear of the garden, passing a magnificent Japanese Maple tree.
