What truly set it apart was the oak framed kitchen diner perfect for large family gatherings and hospitality, offering seamless indoor and outdoor country living throughout the year. Spread across two floors, and configured as a main house and self contained annex, the ground level boasts a kitchen diner with a roof lantern a standout feature of the property. This level also includes two inviting reception rooms, a study, a second kitchen, and a WC. Upstairs, there are three spacious double bedrooms, two with en suite bath shower rooms, along with a smaller bedroom and a sleek, modern family shower room. In recent years, the annexe has been ideal for my mother a wonderful space with great potential as a future Airbnb. Staying proactive with updates, the owners reroofed the house and installed new double glazed windows throughout in 2013. They also invested significantly in remodelling and landscaping the rear garden, incorporating Bath stone terracing and lush planting. We introduced a variety of floral colours and scents, along with multiple fruit trees including, of course, our Mulberry tree, which yields delicious fruit each year.

We ve cherished tending to the garden and the well stocked pond, creating a space that can be enjoyed year round whether it s a quiet drink or evening meal on the lawn or patios, or relaxing under the stars in the seven seater hot tub.

With parking for four plus cars, two EV chargers, a nearby bus stop and shops within walking distance Mulberry House offers convenience for all ages.

A local WhatsApp group shares community news, events, and support as needed. While the garden s trees and hedges offer privacy, we have also enjoyed friendly chats with their wonderful neighbours, Doug and Gemma, who will be greatly missed.

All in all, Mulberry House provides the perfect country escape, whilst offering the best of magical city life within minutes when wanted.
