"This imposing, stone built mid terrace, was originally home to Mr John Gardiner who was the founder of Lingford Gardiner the company that owned the railway works in Bishop Auckland, his initials were etched into the plaster work of the second floor which was unearthed when our clients refurbished the property. It was originally constructed in 1865 in stone, however since purchasing the house, our clients have carried out a programme of refurbishment, re establishing some period features such as the original tiled flooring in the hallway, the stained glass to the windows and coving to the ceilings. On the first floor there are four bedrooms and the house bathroom which comprises of a bath, separate shower cubicle toilet and sink. On the second floor there are two further bedrooms and a toilet with sink. The property features a number of store cupboards. Externally, the house features a small front garden, whilst to the rear there is an enclosed rear yard with a single parking space beyond.
