"Individual Architect designed five bedroom reverse level house finished to an exceptionally high standard with stunning views out over Coverack village, harbour and bay

Description

A stylish, recently built, reverse level five bedroom family home over three floors. The exterior of the property has both rendered and block granite ground floor walls with the upper floor being cedar clad which adds to its stylish contemporary look.

From the front parking area there are steps down to the front door leading into a triple height entrance hall with engineered Oak flooring. Off the entrance hallway is the utility room which has sink and a range of wall & base cupboards with under counter space for both a washing machine and tumble drier along with access to the exterior, a large double door cupboard perfect for coats etc. and four double bedrooms. The Garden bedroom has a built in wardrobe, an ensuite shower room and patio doors out onto the rear garden with views out over the bay. Two further bedrooms look out over the garden and beyond one having an ensuite shower room. The fourth bedroom looks out over the front garden, however, this is currently used as a snug, but would make an equally good office. All bedrooms have wall mounted power and TV points. The Family bathroom has a modern white suite along with a separate quadrant shower.

An Oak and steel open tread staircase leads up to the first floor landing off which is cloak room and a door through to a large open plan living area with engineered oak flooring, corner wood burner with four panel glazing with sliding doors out onto the balcony offering views over Coverack Village, harbour and bay. There is also a door into large under eaves storage room.
The kitchen is open to the dining area and has modern light grey upper cupboards and dark grey lower cupboards under a white Silestone counter top with integrated appliances to include a Fridge Freezer, Oven, Combination Microwave, Dishwasher, five ring induction hob and extractor hood and large wine fridge. There is a breakfast bar looking into the kitchen.

On the first floor landing there is a large corner window which has had one way glass installed so you can see out but not in. Stairs from the 1st floor landing lead up to the second floor principal bedroom and private bathroom. The Principal bedroom has a vaulted ceiling, bespoke built in wardrobes with internal drawers, a glass wall with a Juliet balcony giving quite spectacular views our over the village, beach, harbour and bay. The adjacent bathroom has a modern white suite with double ended bath, vanity unit, a separate cupboard and WC

GARDENS & THE EXTERIOR

FRONT There are two single garages, both with power. The upper garage has water and a WC along with built in shelving and a work bench. Behind the larger garage is a small greenhouse, potting bench and a raised bed with small fruit trees planted to include Apples, Pears & Plums.

Location

The Lizard is renowned for its beauty and spectacular landscapes, with much of the area designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The countryside and coastline are famed for their varied animal and plant life, geology and history, while the climate on the Lizard is often milder than the rest of the country. Once the haunt of smugglers and wreckers, Coverack is a beautiful example of a traditional Cornish fishing village, where the houses hug the curve of the bay. A thriving village, it has a well regarded primary school, shop, church, pub, restaurants and cafes. There are two beaches in the village, Mill Beach in the bay and Porthbeer Cove to the west, overlooked by Chynalls Point an iron age fort , on the South West Coast Path which passes through the village. Coverack is recognised as a water sports destination, with excellent facilities for windsurfing, diving and paddle boarding, as well as pleasure fishing. Sailing and mooring facilities are available on the Helford river and there is a challenging links golf course at Mullion.

Locally, the village of St Keverne provides a post office, two pubs, butchers, local shop, church and a nationally recognised ice cream parlour at Roskilly s, where there is also a craft centre, restaurant, gallery and animal area. The market town of Helston has a wide range of shopping and schooling facilities, whilst the cathedral city of Truro, approximately 25 miles away, is the municipal centre of the county. Travel links to the area are good, with Coverack being served by wide roads and the A30 providing dual carriageway access through Cornwall from the M5 at Exeter. There are mainline railway stations at Redruth and Truro and Cornwall Airport Newquay , is an hour away.
