Sellers Insight
We were looking to build our own home in Woodhall Spa and 17 Tor O Moor provided a superb opportunity to create a unique home in a prestigious location.
We carefully considered the layout of the property to create a seamless yet functional flow. The open plan kitchen, dining, and living areas feel both connected and distinct, offering a perfect balance of space and intimacy. The four generously sized bedrooms are thoughtfully positioned along one side of the house, ensuring privacy away from the main living areas, each complemented by a luxurious en suite shower room.
"Maximizing ceiling height and natural light was a key priority for us, and we feel the exposed oak beams, Velux windows, and sliding doors have beautifully achieved this, creating a bright, airy, and inviting atmosphere throughout the property."
The garden is a true extension of the property and has been carefully planned and landscaped. The French doors from the living area lead out onto a huge, decked veranda terrace which is a wonderful place to entertain, dine and relax. We also built an open sided garden room with low energy infrared heaters which is a super place to sit when the sun has gone in.
The house is very energy efficient to run thanks to the Upvc glazing and insulation but nothing beats having the wood burning stove on during the dark winter nights.
Woodhall Spa is a very special place to live and we are very lucky to have everything it has to offer on our doorstep. The Broadway is only a few minutes walk away and is full of lovely caf s, bars, independent shops and Jubilee Park offers everything from its famous heated lido to cricket, tennis and acres of gardens.
