Description

"A FANTASTIC DETACHED PROPERTY WITH THREE BEAUTIFUL DOUBLE BEDROOMS, THE MASTER BEING A CLEVERLY EXTENDED ANNEXE. SITUATED IN A SUPERB ELEVATED POSITION COMMANDING FAR REACHING SEA VIEWS AND TUCKED AWAY ALONG A NO THROUGH LANE.

THE PROPERTY
Situated on Love s Lane, leading onto Hardown Hill with numerous local walks and access to the South West Coast Path, the first glimpses of this wonderful property are most impressive with its part rendered part local stone elevations under a pitched slated roof, with a later wood clad contemporary addition.
On first entering the property there is a real sense of charm, space and light with immaculately presented accommodation. There is a large reception room with attractive tiled flooring and a two way woodburning stove. There is currently a dining table in this room, ideal for entertaining, and leading perfectly into a sitting room with sea and countryside views. Alongside this room is a conservatory divided by bifold doors and direct access to the delightful gardens.
From the ground floor, steps lead up to a fantastic open plan kitchen incorporating a number of bespoke wall and base units with an electric Bosch hob and Neff oven, and integrated dishwasher and fridge. There is a movable central island and plenty of room for a sofa and breakfast table. There are views over the lovely gardens, with French doors giving direct access, with plenty of places to sit and enjoy a morning coffee or an evening sunset. There is also a laundry room and a cloakroom with shower on the ground floor.
The bedrooms are situated on the first floor. The property was cleverly extended in 2021 adding a superb master bedroom with ensuite which is currently utilised as successful bed & breakfast accommodation. It has an ensuite bathroom, a seating area and bifold doors leading onto its own balcony with direct access to the garden. The new addition sits perfectly alongside the house giving a perfect juxtaposition of old and new. The two other double bedrooms are a very good size with stunning sea views.
The gardens are an absolute delight and have been lovingly nurtured and landscaped over the years with lawned areas, a pond and sitting areas. It is safe for children and animals and easily maintained. Below the extension is a very useful storage area currently housing a very large aluminium sink, ideal for washing dogs or rinsing wet suits!
To the front of the house is ample gravelled parking and a number of outbuildings including a single garage, a greenhouse and a workshop with power.
All in all, this is a truly fantastic property in an idyllic yet very convenient location.
